Father Movement Daddy Olympics
See It in Action
See what happens when fathers step up, get trained, and compete for their babies. This is what it looks like when fathers show up.
The Program
Daddy Olympics is not a spectator sport — it is the ultimate training ground for fathers of infants. Over four weeks, dads learn expert infant care skills, then put everything they have learned to the test in a live, Olympic-style hands-on competition.
Across four weekly virtual sessions, fathers master the essential skills of caring for a newborn — diapering, bathing, feeding, and soothing. By the time the live competition day arrives, every dad who steps on that floor knows exactly what he is doing and why it matters.
The winner goes home with diapers, wipes, and baby essentials. But every father who completes the program goes home with something far more valuable — the confidence to be the caregiver his child needs from the very first day.
“I walked in nervous. I left knowing I could take care of my son on my own. Daddy Olympics changed how I show up for my family.”— Program Graduate, Father Movement
The 4-Week Training Program
Four weeks of expert virtual training, then one day to compete for your baby. Every skill you learn is one your child will benefit from for the rest of their life.
Master feeding — including breastfeeding support for your partner and correct bottle-feeding technique, positioning, and burping. Then learn safe bathing: water temperature, secure holding, and step-by-step infant bath routine.
Learn the correct swaddle technique — snug, secure, and safe — so your baby sleeps better and feels protected. Then dive deep into safe sleep practices: environment setup, sleep training basics, and the ABCs of infant sleep safety.
Nail the diaper change — technique, hygiene, rash prevention, speed. Then tackle car seat safety: correct installation, harness positioning, chest clip placement, and how to safely put your baby in and take them out every single time.
The most critical session. Learn to identify choking hazards at every stage, what to do when your baby is choking, and full hands-on infant CPR technique. Every father should know this — and after week four, you will.
Competition day begins with a hands-on training session where fathers put their skills into practice before the judging begins. Then the competition opens — individual events, a triathlon, and a relay race, all scored on speed, safety, and technique. Every father who competes goes home with diapers, wipes, and baby items. Winners earn a car seat, stroller, or pack and play.
Competition Day
Competition day starts with hands-on training, then moves into the events. Fathers are scored on speed, safety, and correct technique across three formats.
Format 1
Individual Event 1
Timed diaper change on a training doll — scored on correct technique, hygiene steps, and overall speed. The faster and cleaner, the higher the score.
Individual Event 2
Wrap a training doll securely and correctly — judged on snugness, safety, arm positioning, and how calm and secure the final swaddle looks. Speed counts too.
Format 2
One father. Three skills. One timed run. The Triathlon is a continuous challenge — complete all three tasks back-to-back as fast as possible without sacrificing technique. Your combined score across all three determines your standing.
Leg 1
Diaper Changing
Speed + correct technique on training doll
Leg 2
Swaddling
Secure, correct wrap — judged on safety and form
Leg 3
Safe Sleep Setup
Correct environment setup — scored on safety compliance
Format 3
A team event — different fathers each own one leg of the race. Complete your station as fast and correctly as possible, then pass to the next dad. The team with the best combined time and technique score wins. This is Daddy Olympics at its finest.
Leg 1
Diaper Changing
Complete the diaper change, then hand off to the next dad
Leg 2
Swaddling
Wrap the baby securely, then pass to the anchor leg
Anchor Leg
Car Seat Safety
Correctly place baby in car seat and remove — judged on harness, clip, and safety

Why It Matters
When fathers are equipped, confident, and engaged from the beginning — everything changes. For the baby. For the mother. For the family.
Infants with actively involved fathers show stronger cognitive development, better emotional regulation, and healthier attachment patterns. Your presence and competence in those first weeks is not optional — it is foundational.
1st Year is the most critical window for father-infant bondingWhen fathers are skilled and confident in infant care, mothers experience significantly lower rates of postpartum depression and burnout. Daddy Olympics trains you to be the partner your family needs — not a bystander.
50% reduction in maternal stress when fathers are equally capable caregiversShared parenting is not a trend — it is a necessity. Daddy Olympics challenges the idea that infant care belongs to mothers alone. Fathers who train together build a community of men who show up, stay in, and lead their families.
Community of trained, confident fathers supporting each other long after the program endsFrom the Fathers
Before Daddy Olympics I was scared to hold my son let alone bathe him. After week two I was doing it every night. When competition day came I took first place and won a whole month of diapers. My wife cried. I cried. My son just looked at me. That was everything.
My girlfriend was doing everything and I felt useless. Father Movement signed me up. By week three I was the one getting up at night. By week five I won the feeding challenge. She said I changed. I did. That program made me a real father, not just a man who lives in the house.
I thought I knew what I was doing. I did not. The virtual sessions taught me things no one ever showed me. Safe sleep, how to read my baby's cues, the right way to soothe her — real skills. When I got to competition day I wasn't nervous. I was ready. Every new dad needs this program.
